GRIGG Bi Blend is a liquid fertilizer that contains 5% calcium and three sources of nitrogen. It improves turf strength and vigor. It may be used on all soil types and is especially beneficial in sandy soils.

Rate Recommendations For Professional Use

To prevent or correct nutrient deficiencies, apply GRIGG BI BLEND as a liquid spray early in the morning or late afternoon to reduce drift. Use nozzles that produce a larger droplet size with a higher volume of water and/or irrigate into the root zone. For best results, apply when temperatures in the root zone exceed 50°F and environmental conditions favor turf growth.

Soil Application
Cool and Warm Season Grasses:

  • Apply 3-6 fl oz per 1000 sq ft or 1-2 gal per acre [10-20 L per hectare] every 14-28 days or as needed.

Make frequent applications at lower rates, or apply higher rates at times of greater plant demand. Optimum rate of application will vary depending on treatment interval, soil properties (such as pH, organic matter content, texture), weather conditions, time of year, plant species and its nutrient requirements.

For best results, follow soil/tissue test recommendation.

Mixing and Handling Instructions

  1. Agitate before use.
  2. Apply in 2-4 gal of water per 1,000 sq ft (88-176 gal of water per acre) [800-1600 L of water per hectare].
  3. Fill mix tank with half of required water volume and begin agitation.
  4. Add products in this order, mixing thoroughly after each addition: adjuvants, pesticides, then fertilizers.
  5. Fill tank with remainder of water and continue agitation until solution is completely mixed.
  6. Check chemical mixture compatibility using a jar test prior to application.

Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Apply this product only to your lawn/garden. Check with your local Cooperative Extension Agency to obtain specific information on local turf best management practices.
