POGO Pro+  is part of a complete system that captures, analyzes and provides instant
feedback about the holistic condition of your turf, so you can dial in perfection!
POGO’s patented sensor is depended on for scientific-grade precision by the USDA, NOAA, leading irrigation
companies, and many universities for over 25 years and counting.
POGO’s patented sensor measures moisture, EC and salinity index, while two additional sensors measure temperature on the surface and below the surface of the soil. Together, POGO measures the most influential variables governing turf performance. It’s the interaction of these 4 parameters which gives the accuracy of POGO’s prescriptions. For instance, low moisture content doesn’t necessarily mean water should be applied.

Key Features

The POGO Pro+ and POGO Mapper feature a GPS receiver, a Bluetooth transmitter, and, in the case of the Pro+, a unique multi-parameter soil sensor. These devices wirelessly connect to a smartphone or tablet running the advanced TurfPro Mobile app.

Through this app, users can easily initiate the collection of soil sample data by placing the POGO on the turf, tapping a button to record the data, and then moving to the next location. Additionally, the app allows users to log various specifications and performance variables, including ball speed, firmness, shear strength, clipping yield, and more. It provides real-time analytics and assessments of turf and soil conditions such as moisture, conductivity, and temperature.

Data collected is synchronized with the TurfPro Cloud application via the device’s internet connection, offering comprehensive turf and property insights. The POGO Mapper is mainly used for recording specifications, creating pin sheets for golf course play, and mapping a variety of features. The POGO Logger connects to a range of sensors, including in-ground sensors, water level and quality sensors, and the full-scale POGO Weather station, facilitating seamless analysis through your TurfPro account.

The POGO Weather Station provides valuable insights into turf stress and degree day analysis, essential for turf managers. It allows for precise tracking of stress accumulation and degree days since the application of growth regulation or pest control measures. By combining POGO turf measurements with POGO Weather’s ambient data, users can gain a deeper understanding of turf conditions and their impacts on performance, offering unparalleled value for turf management operations.
